GRANT, TED RICHARD BLUFF CITY -- Ted Richard Grant, 72, died Monday, May 11, 1998, in Wellmont Hospice House. He was a native and lifelong resident of Sullivan County and was a retired truck driver with Lemmons Transport. He was also of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Grant Lingerfelt, Bluff City; two sons, Randy Allen Grant, Greeneville, TN, and Michael Allen Grant, Bluff City; one step-son, Ernest Pilkin, Bristol TN; one step-daughter, Delores Bushong; his mother, Emma Lee Grant, Bluff City; two sisters, Evelyn Gray, Piney Flats, and Mary Ruth Necessary, Blountville; four brothers, Donald Grant and Hobart Grant, both of Bristol VA, Fred Grant and Johnny Grant, both of Bristol TN; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
