Bro Milton Gallant said Sates Ninive F Gallant gave him the Lie thay was boath mad at each other Sister Gallant said she sorrow of such and expreshen thay boath agree to far gave each other... this all seames to Beafamily confushion and brings in Bro Theophilis Grant he said he was guilty of cursing his Bro John Grant and all so of whiping his wife he said he was sorrow of doing so and said there was a better way of living and was gowing to do better and waunts the church to far gave him and bear with him Bro Grants Family and all the rest that is named hur gave each other there hands and the committee that this was all settled

Theodrick served in civil war, US 8th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry - discharged lung injury & measles per war records.
Other hospital records show stomach problems.
He lived in Jefferson County at the time he enlisted, and may have been raised in Granger County.
(1860 census Roane Co Elizabeth Stuffestreen 14 from Carter Co )
1870 census for Roane Co shows Elizabeth 25, Theopolis 1, and Jane Grant age 57 (SC) ... was ths Theodricks mother come to live with them?? and Mary 19
[1870 census for Meigs county also has Mary F 19 and Jane 57 Grant living together apart from Theodrick]
[1880 census for Loudon County TN, Jane (mother, widowed, housekeeper) and Mary are in Loudon County]
1900 census T.B Grant 55, Elizabeth 55, Alice c.21, John 15 (this is about the time the picture of the cabin is. -
-note there is no porch and no under the house (cabin) per book claiming T.B. hid under it to drink and author found his wiskey jug under porch.

Pension documents: Enlisted Feb 24, 1864, discharged Sept 11, 1865; US 8th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry; while on duty at Nashville Tn on or about March 20 1864 he was disabled by measles resulting in lung trouble and deafness both ears; treated at No 8 Hospital at Louisville KY.

said soldier lived on his premises from about Nov 1869 until 1880 ... that [he] was frequently off from work for a day or two during the eleven years while on his [J B Gettys] .. and that he frequently complained of his head ... [that T B Grant his breast and head had hurt him ever since he had measles while in the US Army.. and he had never mentioned pension until J.M.Black nemed it to him two years ago.. dated Dec 6 1889]

lived in Roane County first two years after discharge then moved to McMinn county about a year, then moved to Meigs county and have lived in Meighs up to the present[May 31 1912]
